  • Maintaining Mental Health During COVID-19

    As our community slowly reopens and the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 continues, we encourage our families to focus on their physical and mental health and prepare for whatever the new school year may bring. Visit the 91社区Mental Health Website Protective Factors page to learn how daily practices such as getting enough sleep, practicing mindfulness, and exercising regularly support both physical and mental health.  For your own mental health and the mental health of your family, it’s important to be flexible and focus on the positive things in life. Incorporating positive thoughts and gratitude into your days can lead to a better outlook on life, reduced stress, and improved physical and mental health.

    For our elementary school students and families, check out the Kid Connection’s Social Emotional Learning videos.  These short videos guide TK-5th grade students and parents through learning and practicing skills such as Listening, Expressing Emotions, Solving Problems, and Dealing with Anger.  As teenagers begin venturing out again, be sure that they stay healthy.
