Hello! Welcome to Mrs. Rocha’s Science Lab. I am excited and honored to be working with incredible young scientists at Leo Croce school. Together we will discover, explore, and share science learning. I look forward to getting to know all my students!   

I taught in the Livermore School District for nine years in elementary and middle school and learned from and collaborated with some of the best teachers in Livermore. I have worked with children in Kindergarten up to seventh grade. My goal as a teacher is to help all students develop a love of learning in all subjects, be curious about the world around them, and strive to be the best self one can be! Multiple modalities, STEM, PBIS, Choose Love for Schools, and Growth Mindset are tools I use in my teaching. The learning environment I create for my students is rich and engaging - ready to learn by doing.

Working in the community I live in makes me smile every day! I have lived in the Livermore community for 30 years and my three grown children have attended Livermore schools. I enjoy the great outdoors with family, friends, and my dog when not in the classroom. Cooking, swimming, backpacking, traveling, gardening, and finding new ways to teach young minds are some of my favorite things to do.
