Mrs. Lynn Sanford

Lynn Sanford began working with individuals with special needs in 1972, volunteering at an indoor pool teaching swimming to children and adults with all types of abilities and challenges. While working there, Lynn met her husband of 34 years. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara, Lynn pursued a career in graphic design, which she enjoyed for 20 years. In 2003, Lynn returned to special education. She worked as an aide for a young student with autism and at a Center for Early Intervention of Autism in The San Ramon Valley Unified School District. During that time, Lynn returned to school, where she earned her teaching credential in Early Childhood Special Education from San Jose State University. She then taught a special education preschool class in the San Ramon district while finishing her Master's degree in Education from San Jose State University. Lynn spent a year as an Instructional Support Teacher for the Lafayette Early Intervention Program before finding her way to Livermore in 2014. Lynn enjoys teaching a LASS (Language And Social Skills) preschool class here at Croce.
