Welcome to Room K3, Kindergarten! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year.

This will be my 8th year teaching at Rancho. I am a Rancho Alum myself so it is so much fun to be back! Kindergarten is such a special time in a child's life. Although teaching is an exhausting job, it is extremely rewarding for me to watch as the students leave kindergarten learning how to read. In our classroom, we are a family and work as a team, while growing academically and socially. 

A little about myself... Lets see, where did this all begin?! When I was in 3rd grade, I knew that I wanted to become a teacher one day. I persued this dream of mine by completing my undergrad at Sonoma State and then moved to Santa Barbara where I received my credential and Masters of Education at UCSB. I thought I would live in Santa Barbara forever, until I met my husband. I have been back in the Bay Area ever since. My husband, Jake, and I got married in Tahoe 3 years ago and recently had our daughter, Reese! As a family, we love traveling, staying active outdoors, and working on our house. I love anything coffee and dark chocolate.

I am looking forward to job sharing with Mrs. Lane this year along with having Mrs. Vigil as my sub from August- October while I am home with my daughter... Your student is in great hands!
