Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child! It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I thought you might like to know a little bit about me. I am married to my wonderful husband, Derrick. We have two sons, Kyle, who recently graduated from ASU and Carson, who is an 11^th grader at Granada. They take up most of my free time, but some hobbies that I enjoy are cooking, crafting, and most of all traveling. I have lived in Livermore for over 25 years. I grew up in San Ramon and went to California High School and graduated from Chapman University. 

This is my twenty-third year of teaching. I have been at Smith for 16 years in first and second grade. Before that, I taught for 7 years at Croce in K-2. I absolutely love teaching. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with a passion for my subject so that my students develop a  desire to become life-long learners.
