My name is Tina Weetman and I am the full-time science teacher here at Jackson Avenue School. We have too much fun in science lab while learning a lot about science and engineering through investigations and challenges! I was born and raised in California, have a husband and two young adult children, along with a dog, named Dozer, a gecko, and a tarantula. Lil Dipper (gecko) and Toni (tarantula) live in the science lab with us during the school year. I have been teaching for 15+ years, beginning in 1st grade and then moving to elementary science about 13 years ago. Teaching students STEM is my passion. But I also love chocolate. And coffee. And reading.
