Ms. Sheri Heskett

I'm thrilled to join the Jackson Avenue Team and I'm eager to get to know the students and parent community, so please introduce yourself to me.

I believe each student brings unique and important qualities to our classroom community and I love encouraging them to utilize their strengths to blossom, while accepting and supporting one another. A classroom environment, which is safe and comfortable, inspires students to take risks and reach personal goals. 

I've spent the past 23 years teaching Kindergarten, Fourth, and 4/5 Combo classes at the same school, which was far from my home in Pleasanton. Although it was difficult to leave, I'm very happy to say goodbye to my exhausting commute and begin again much closer to my home and family.
