Mrs. Karen Shepard
Welcome to Sunset 3rd Grade! My name is Karen Shepard and I have been teaching in Livermore for over 24 years. I live in Livermore with my husband. I have 2 children, both of whom attended Livermore schools. I love teaching and instilling a love of lifelong learning in my students, especially reading. I encourage students to strive to be their best selves. I want our classroom to be a safe place for children to learn and grow and feel like family. I am excited to meet you, get to know you, and work with you this year. I am thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful school and community.
Fun facts about me: I love the SF Giants. I love to travel. Tahoe is one of my favorite places. I love skiing, baking, jogging, hiking, golfing, reading, going to movies, going out to dinner, and spending time with family, friends, and my dog.
