Welcome! My name is Mrs. Samonek. This will be my 12th year of teaching, and I absolutely love my job! My favorite parts of teaching are connecting with all of my students, making learning fun, and watching my students eyes light up with excitement when they explore, discover, and learn new topics. I believe it is most important to create a safe, respectful, caring, and organized learning environment so that my students can be successful academically, emotionally, and socially. When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my husband and son.  I also love spending time with family, friends, cycling, walking, hiking, camping, kayaking, travelling, reading, eating out, and watching fun shows and movies! My educational background is as follows: BA in Liberal Studies Elementary Education, a MA in Education with a specialization in SPED and Autism, a Multiple Subject CLAD Teaching Credential, and an Education Specialist Instruction Credential.
