Hello, I am excited to spend the year with everyone! I cannot wait to open our minds, struggle, and learn with everyone.  Get ready to get comfortable with the uncomfortable.

I love math and coffee ?! I want to share the excitement for learning math with my students or, at least, make all of my students excited to come to our math classroom everyday whether it's a virtual classroom or in person. This is my 4th year at Mendenhall, teaching Algebra 1 and Math 8. I was a high school mathematics teacher for 10 years prior to my role here at Mendenhall as well as a stay-at-home mom for a year. I loved teaching at the high school level, but discovered that my new passion is working at the middle school. This is such a fun age group where students can still develop a strong growth mindset as well as acquire a love of math. This love of math developed when I was in middle school and pushed me to obtain my BS in Mathematics and my MA in Mathematics Education. After getting married and having 2 children, a son Tyler (age 7) and a daughter Lillie (age 5), and living in multiple places, our family decided to make our home in Livermore. I am a graduate from the Livermore School system and I am excited to be a part of 91社区as a teacher and as a parent.

I hope that we can all have a successful year together, learning and growing.
