After teaching 30 years in Elementary schools in Florida, Texas, and California, I've decided to re-energize my pedagogical passion and skills and teach at the middle school level. While enjoying the comforts and interests within the Language Arts and Social Studies Core studies, I am for the first time also teaching Spanish!
I continue to enjoy teaching with enthusiasm and creativity! I am part of an amazing team of 6th-grade teachers. Together, we strive to create a loving and respectful environment and to facilitate learning in meaningful ways, while instilling both independent and collaborative skills.
We fortify character traits like diligence, responsibility, respect, and perseverance, which will help our students also succeed outside of the classroom. I also enjoy working with parents to help empower them to support their child's education.
I look forward to learning along with and being inspired by the students!
