Welcome to Mrs. Rhodes' 6th grade CORE homepage. I'd like to share a bit about myself as an educator. I have been teaching for 20 years, and 18 of those years have been here in Livermore. I have been teaching 6th grade core for the past 15 years here at CMS. I have a passion for teaching writing and have been working on the writing committee for 91社区since coming to Livermore.

MY PHILSOPHY: I have high expectations for each of my students, and I expect them to try their best, working hard each day to the best of their ability. Every student can achieve any goal they set. Some must work harder than others, as each child has different strengths and areas of weakness, but anything is possible with the right MINDSET. I want my students to feel confident when learning new skills, and challenged each day as they stretch their understanding. 

I thoroughly enjoy what I do every day and I am glad you are part of my village this year.
