Hi,
My name is Jennifer Smith and I have been a middle school educator for 15 years now. I grew up in Livermore and attended Sunset, Mendenhall and Granada schools.
My parents still live in the area and have retired, my dad from a local bank, and my mom from Junction library. My brother Ryan is also a 7th grade history teacher in the Hayward
school district. I have a 10 year old daughter named Claire who is a 5th grader at Altamont Creek Elementary this year. My husband John is the head chef at the popular Springtown
restaurant Hop Devine.
I am happy to welcome this year's 7th graders to a new and exciting, if unusual start of the year. This kind of distance learning is new for all of us and we will all do our best
