May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month
This month we celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. In 1977, AAPI Heritage was honored for a week in the month of May and in 1992, Congress passed a law to celebrate AAPI Heritage for the full month of May.
