Welcome to 6th Grade Core!
I am so pleased to be at East Avenue Middle School this year. Go Dolphins! I have lived in Livermore for five years and love our community. I grew up here in the Bay Area, attended University of Southern California for my bachelors degree (Fight On, ‘SC!), and University of Phoenix for my teaching credential and masters degree. I have experience with all grade levels from K-8 in various schools in Danville, Antioch, and San Jose. Sixth grade is my favorite grade to teach.
Keep in mind that learning is not always easy, or may be easy for you in some subjects, but more difficult in others. Work well done deserves a pat on the back, and you should take pride in yourself for each success--big or small--you have as student (or a parent). Working together as a team, we can make this a successful and meaningful year. I am looking forward to a great year!
