 Dear Parents/Guardians:

 Eighth grade year-end activities are just around the corner.  We are looking forward to the celebration of three years of hard work on the part of your students. We hope the following will provide you with helpful information relative to dates and requirements for the promotion ceremony, the eighth grade promotion dance party, and the eighth grade trip to Discovery Kingdom.

 Please pay particular attention to the eligibility and payment guidelines.  We are hopeful that all of our students will participate in the planned events.

Date: Friday, May 31 from 7:00pm -9:30pm

Eligibility: Students must receive a grade of a “D” or better on their third trimester report card in all classes, have no more than 3 tardies per week, on average, for the 3rd trimester, AND not currently be on suspension. Students must have all materials returned.

Tickets:

Date: Thursday, June 6th at 6:00pm in the Quad. More information to come.

Dress Code:
Robes must be worn during the ceremony. Robes will be provided and should be returned at the end of the ceremony.  Families should hold flowers and/or leis until after the ceremony. Please no hats, sunglasses or other headgear. Please no horns.

Submit your Permission Slip and Order Form with your receipt or payment to the office no later than April 17, 2024

Eligibility:
-- Students who earn an F on the second trimester report card are not eligible to attend. 
--  Students who have an F grade in any class during the final week of May are not eligible to attend.
--  No suspensions during the third trimester.
--  No more than 3 tardies per week, on average, for the 3rd trimester. 
--  All school materials must be returned.
