Our Role

The Community Engagement Department serves the students, staff, families, and community members of our district by providing effective communication and nurturing robust community partnerships. We build connections that enable our students to thrive. Some of those connections involve our broader Livermore and Tri-Valley community- including businesses, nonprofits, governments, and faith-based organizations - that provide opportunities that support student achievement.
Communication

We keep our community connected to school success by sharing news from our schools through a variety of channels, including our website, our new app, our tri-annual newsletter, The Grapevine, Facebook, and Instagram, to name a few. Our office serves as a liaison to the news media and the general public so that we can keep our community informed of our successes and up to date in the case of emergencies and crises.
We work with all district staff to facilitate efficient internal communication. We lead communications and support all staff members in their effective use of our communication tools.
