Thank you for taking the time to visit our website! One of our central missions in Special Education is to develop systems that strategically support our students with disabilities. Over the course of the last four years, we have redesigned many of the ways we are supporting students with disabilities with an eye on providing them as much time as possible with their general education peers. Because of these changes, we have continued to see academic, adaptive and social-emotional growth during this time.

As the Director of Special Education, I want you to know how important it is to me that you feel supported and understand that we view you as an equal partner in the education of your students. Without your input, we will not have the full picture on how to best meet your child’s individual needs. 

Over thirty years ago, I chose to pursue a career path in Special Education. I made this decision because I had a sibling with a disability and saw how difficult it was for him to receive the support and services he so desperately needed. For the last thirty years I have dedicated my life to this end.
