Mr. Justin Enright

Mr. Enright is Director of Instrumental music at Livermore High School where he teaches Concert Band, Symphonic Band Honors, String Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra Honors, Jazz Ensemble, and Jazz Band Honors. Mr. Enright also oversees several extracurricular music programs including marching band, pep band, winter percussion, and winter color guard. Prior to his position at LHS, Mr. Enright has held positions at Maria Carrillo High School (CA), Vacaville High School (CA), B.Gail Wilson Middle School (CA) and Jefferson Elementary (CT). In addition to his work in the public schools, Mr. Enright’s synergistic activities have and currently include: CFO for the Livermore Education Association, board member for The California Music Educators Association Bay Section; allstate ensmeble host for The California Orchestra Directors Association; band, orchestra and jazz adjudicator for the CMEA and Campana music festivals; clinician and judge for Music in the Parks marching band festivals; educator resident at the Lafayette summer jazz camp; member of the Phi Phi chapter of Kappa Delta Pi Honors Society in Education and Human Services; founding member of the Alpha Zeta chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Professional Music Fraternity; conductor of the Sonoma Valley Community Wind Ensemble; and professional classical and jazz trumpet player. He earned a bachelor’s of music degree in instrumental music education at the Harrt School of Music in Hartford, Connecticut, and master’s of music degree in jazz education from San Jose State University. As a Summa Cum Laude graduate and Regents Award winner, Mr. Enright emphasizes the importance of academics and community service with his students every day.
