    Dear Livermore High School Parents/Guardians,

It is with great honor and privilege that I assume the role of principal at Livermore High School. Throughout my career, I have nurtured a deep passion for working with young individuals, and I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to serve in this capacity. With over three decades of experience in the field of education, spanning from being a classroom teacher to a staff developer, vice principal, and now principal, I am truly humbled to be a part of this compassionate and dedicated school community.

Our mission is to provide each and every child with the highest quality education possible so that each student will graduate with the skills needed to contribute and thrive in a changing world. I firmly believe in the proverbial saying that "it takes a village to raise a child," and we are truly a village with teachers, parents, and other community members working together to provide what is best for every child at Livermore High School. As educators, we hold a profound responsibility and an extraordinary opportunity not only to impart knowledge but also to make a positive impact on their lives. I believe in teaching the whole child and supporting each student's academic, behavioral, and social emotional needs.

As the principal, I promise to keep what is best for our students at the forefront of every decision we make as a school. We will encourage and teach curiosity, problem-solving, and a life-long love of learning and service to community and others. We will foster a growth mindset and GRIT so that all students will learn to face challenges with confidence and perseverance. And most of all, every child will be valued and cared for at Livermore High School.

I look forward to another amazing year! Today is a Great Day to be a Cowboy!

    With immense pride,

    Roxana Mohammed, Principal
